PROGRAMMING

It's not all
greek to me

C, C++, Objective C, Java, Javascript, Actionscript, PHP, ASP, Ruby, SQL, UI, UX, if all of these sound like foreign languages to you, don't worry, they're like a mother tongue to me.

I was academically trained in the engineering of coding to develop beautiful and efficient apps for mobile, desktop or the web, so that everything runs smoothly under the hood and you don't have to worry about a byte.

DESIGN

Saiku Craftsmanship

I fell in love with design at a very young age, and since then I have dedicated my life bringing design into otherwise faceless companies, letting them know the importance of a well balanced, well though, thorough presence in the digital world.

Being fascinated with the Japanese culture of discipline and respect, I am obsessed with Saiku, traditional handmade craftsmanship and the effort Shokunin (craftsmen) put into their work, seeking ultimate perfection in the smallest details.

I try to adopt the Shokunin philosophy in my work, by seeking perfection down to last pixel and having all the elements in perfect harmony.

GAME DEVELOPMENT

It's all fun
and games

I have developed some games with big teams being a cog in a big oiled bureaucratic machine.

But I have also developed a couple of games from scratch either beginning with just a client’s idea or creating my own games, dealing with everything from concept to character design, 3D modeling and programming.

TOOLBOX

The right tools
for the right job

The good thing about having an engineering degree and being from the south of Europe is that no tool is too scary to pick up for the first time.

That’s why over the years I have accumulated a lot of experience in the new tools that came along and keep my hands ready for the new ones that are to come.

I am currently based in Porto, Portugal and work for clients from all four corners of the world, speaking a thousand different languages.

So you can have an idea, I have already worked with clients from the USA, UK, Italy, Spain, France, Portugal, Brazil, Argentina, Columbia and Dubai, speaking English, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and French, so I don't think we'll have progblems getting along.
